An interactive session was held between the Senate Committee on Interior and the Nigerian Immigration Service at the National Assembly.
The meeting served as a platform for members of the committee to engage with key representatives from the immigration service and discuss the crucial matter pertaining to the turnaround time for Nigerians to get their passport, the need for the immigration service to improve on its manpower amongst other issues.
The highpoint of the meeting was the assurance given by Acting Controller General of the Nigerian Immigration Service, that Nigerians will receive their passport within 2 weeks upon successful application.
