During Tuesday’s @nigeriansenate plenary, I co-sponsored a motion with Senate Chief Whip Ali Ndume to establish a food stamp programme that aims to offer much-needed assistance to vulnerable Nigerians during these challenging times.
This motion advocates for a concrete policy change, aiming to make essential food items more accessible and affordable for all Nigerians. By doing so, it seeks to reduce the impact of inflation and maintain basic food security.
It reflects our shared commitment to improving social welfare and expanding the safety net, ensuring that no one is left behind or adversely affected by ongoing institutional reforms.
