Earlier today, I had the honor of speaking at the 7th Seed Connect Africa Conference, where I called for the urgent adoption of seed technology to boost agricultural productivity across Africa.
In my address, I stated how challenges like climate change, insecurity, and population growth make it necessary for us to embrace modern solutions to secure our food systems.
As Chairman of the Senate Committee on Agriculture Production, Services and Rural Development, I am fully committed to working with all stakeholders to ensure that we transform our agricultural sector for the benefit of our people and future generations.
