I am excited to flag-off our fertilizer distribution program, “Empowering Kwara Central Farmers: Unlocking Self-Sufficiency in Food Production.” This program will support farmers across all four LGAs in Kwara Central with 3,500 bags of high-quality fertilizer, boosting yields and promoting food security for our communities.
I extend my gratitude to the Fertilizer Distribution Committee, led by Alhaji Ahmed Adebayo (Omi), for their tireless efforts in achieving this objective.
To empower our farmers and demonstrate alignment with President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda, I have personally funded the distribution of 3,500 bags of high-quality 50 kg fertilizer.
As I approach my 1-year anniversary in office, I’d like to highlight some key accomplishments aimed at improving the lives of our constituents:
– Advocated for and sponsored 8 bills.
– Sponsored educational opportunities for over 2,000 individuals.
– Facilitated the construction and rehabilitation of various roads
– Provided communities with solar-powered infrastructure.
– Facilitated employment opportunities for numerous indigenes across the senatorial district.
I’m committed to using my position as Senate Committee Chair on Agriculture to further support our farmers and secure funding to complete abandoned federal projects in Kwara Central.
Together with the state government and other stakeholders, we can build a more prosperous and food-secure future for Kwara Central!
