I am pleased to announce the launch of a multi-million naira empowerment and training programme focused on dry season farming and the horticultural value chain for the youth and women in Kwara Central Senatorial District.
This initiative, in collaboration with the National Horticultural Research Institute (NIHORT) and Gemstone Integrated Farm Nigeria Ltd, is designed to equip my constituents with the technical skills and practical resources needed to thrive in agriculture.
The training will enhance participants’ knowledge of dry season farming and equip them with tools to boost productivity and profitability. Through this, we aim to promote self-sufficiency, stimulate local economic growth, and create sustainable livelihoods in Kwara Central.
