I recently attended the 16th Annual Ramadan Lecture organized by the Sheikh Mukhtar Isalekoto Islamic Foundation. The theme of the lecture was ‘How Entrepreneurs Can Navigate Challenges and Embrace Opportunities.’
Over the years, human capital development has been a strong belief of mine. And as a senator, I have consistently prioritized this belief through my advocacy for skill acquisition and entrepreneurship centers.
In line with this commitment, my team is collaborating with skill acquisition organizations to establish an artisan hub here in Ilorin, Kwara State. This hub will provide a convenient and conducive environment for my entrepreneurial constituents to work, improve their skillset and also earn a living.
Additionally, I had the honor of joining Dr. Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari CFR, the Emir of Ilorin, at the Morning Tafsir delivered by Chief Imam Sheikh Muhammad Bashir Imam Soliu OON in the historic palace of the Ilorin Emirate.
