This afternoon, alongside my colleagues in the National Assembly, Senator Oyelola Ashiru (Kwara South) and Senator Sadiq Umar (Kwara North), I visited the venue of the ongoing intensive solar power installation and maintenance training for youths in Kwara Central Senatorial District.

The training, which commenced on 17, October 2024, in collaboration with the Agricultural and Rural Management Training Institute (ARMTI), has now entered its second phase, which focuses on practical sessions for the participants.

I’m impressed by the feedback from the participants, who expressed their eagerness to apply the skills they have gained so far. As part of my commitment to empowering them, the participants will receive start-up tools which will help them begin their journey in the solar energy industry.
