Today, I had the honor of attending the presentation of the International Food Policy Research Institute’s (IFPRI) Global Food Policy Report focused on “Improving Food Systems for Healthy Diets and Nutrition in Nigeria.”
This timely report provides critical insights into Nigeria’s current food security challenges and offers invaluable recommendations for enhancing food systems and nutritional outcomes.
As Chairman of the Senate Committee on Agriculture, I am committed to advancing legislation that ensures the availability, affordability, and nutritional quality of food for all Nigerians.
I commend IFPRI for this important initiative and look forward to continued collaboration for a healthier Nigeria.
