Yesterday, I attended the 46th Regular Meeting of the National Council on Agriculture and Food Security at the Calabar International Convention Centre in Cross River State. This gathering reflects our commitment to strengthening Nigeria’s agricultural sector and ensuring food security for our nation.
Alongside the Honorable Minister of Agriculture and Food Security, Distinguished Senator Abubakar Kyari, I was warmly received by the Deputy Governor of Cross River State, Mr. Peter Odey, at the Government House in Calabar. I am glad to see the dedication of our leaders and stakeholders as we work together to build sustainable agricultural solutions and enhance our food systems.
